WHAT IS HEADIS?
An exciting new high intensity sport, combining the skills of football and table tennis.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You need a solid table tennis table and a Headis Net (optional but preferred) and Headis Ball (essential!).
Headis uses similar rules to table tennis however the skills off football.
See all the rules here.
WHO CAN PLAY HEADIS?
Any body tall enough to look above the table can play.
CAN I USE ANY TABLE TENNIS TABLE?
The more solid the better. 25mm tables are usually the best. Don’t use flimsy tables that cant take the weight of a player.
The net is also important. It is more stable than a table tennis net and doesn’t bend down when it gets hit. Public tables always have a metal or solid net so they are good to play with.
Be aware that you always play at your own risk.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PLAY HEADIS?
You need the specially designed Headis Ball, a stable net and table and of cause someone to play with.
IS PLAYING HEADIS DIFFICULT?
No. At the beginning it is important to put your hands on the table so you can orientate yourself and know where the table is.
When you’ve been playing for a while you will automatically know where the table is and become more confident and skilful at playing.
Like all sports Headis requires training and playing to improve.
